the student ministry at noland road baptist church exists to please our Lord and Savior by centering our focus on Christ as we serve Him. our purpose statement summarizes the five core elements of our ministry to students.
fellowship. outreach. celebrate. unify. serve.
focus ::: developing relationships with students is a key foundation to our ministry. as students and leaders invest in one another's lives, we recognize that students need to be known, cared for, held accountable and encouraged in their spiritual journey. it is essential for each student to feel welcome and accepted. students today need to see Christ being lived out on a regular basis in the lives of those leaders around them.
outreach ::: we place an emphasis on equipping the students to share their faith and recognize their responsibility as believers to boldly share what God has done in their life. we specifically plan activities and events where students can feel welcome to invite their friends.
celebrate ::: we worship as we celebrate God's presence and honor Him with our lifestyle. everything we do is done because we love God and desire to honor and worship Him.
unify ::: as Christians, we are commanded to mature and grow up in the faith as we learn more about Christ and how to become more like Him. through small and large group settings, God's Word is taught and students are challenged to grow in their personal walk with Christ.
serve ::: God has given each Christian spiritual gifts to use for His glory. as students discover those gifts for themselves, they learn how to implement them through ministry, mission and service opportunities. we focus on equipping students to lead and provide them ways to take ownership of the student ministry and get involved through various outlets of service.
