Engage Yourself

“Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth.” What does it mean to engage your spirit in pursuit of truth? It means to search for the truth, the one truth, found only in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to use that truth to humbly become a servant of the Lord. This is not about us. This is not about contemporary songs, flashy lights, or a big sound system- it’s about having a reverently bowed heart willing to praise our Father for what He’s done for us. On Wednesday nights, a group of high school students called to humbly serve the Lord through music take the stage and lead a worship service modeled closely to the services seen at THEE Camp and other events that Noland Road participates in. We operate on one philosophy stated by author Rick Muchow- “Excellent music cannot substitute for the Spirit’s power in worship. Eloquent speaking cannot replace the power of the Spirit in a person’s heart.” We invite you to join us as we praise the Father through music, learn from His teaching, and have a great time together in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Services on Wednesday evening begin at 6:30 PM at the SPOT.
